Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) has employees that have access to source code that other government contractors do not have along with extensive experience working on Azure Government clouds, with reach-back to the product teams that develop the services. This purchase is in support of Cloud Operations, Security, Management and Optimization at Speed of Commercial (COSMOS). The services to be purchased are as follows: Solution Architect, services for designing and "solutioning" for the Expressway/Wonderland custom solutions and providing the CNAP capabilities QTY: 2,500 hours Software Engineer, services to build the Expressway/Wonderland the Mission Landing Zones and work with the Solution Architect on possible integration with existing identity and cybersecurity services already available for the Navy in Azure. QTY: 2,400 hours Project Manager, services to oversee the overall project and assist with SCRUM/AGILE process for the team and the customer stakeholders. QTY: 500 hours This notice of intent is not a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. Questions by phone or fax will not be considered. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 apply.
