The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Harris Global Communications (Cage: 7QAK7). The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM: 0001 DESCRIPTION:Broadband Ethernet Radio, MIMO, 4.4-5.0 GHZ PART NUMBER: RF-7800W-OU470 QTY: 2 ITEM: 0002 DESCRIPTION:Ant, 1FT Panel, MIMO, 4.4-5.875 GHZ, 21DBI PART NUMBER: RF-7800W-AT201 QTY: 2 ITEM: 0003 DESCRIPTION: Ethernet Lighting Protector PART NUMBER:12069-0040-01 QTY:2 ITEM:0004 DESCRIPTION:Cable ASSY, Straight w/ Backshells PART NUMBER:12069-0030-A060 QTY:2 ITEM:0005 DESCRIPTION:Cable ASSY, Straight w/ Backshell PART NUMBER:12069-0031-A006 QTY:2 The Government intends to negotiate solely with Harris Global Communications under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being reasonably available to meet the Government's needs. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 334220 and the size standard is 1250 employees. Please be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice of intent is not a request for quote; however, any responsible source that believes that it can fulfill the requirement and is authorized by the manufacturer to sell the quoted product may submit a quote which may be considered by the agency. Comments, questions, or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via email to Isabella Busalacchi at isabella.busalacchi@navy.mil by 12:00 PM on Friday, 16 April, 2021. Responses received before the stated date may be considered by the Government for purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
