The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to 4 Star Technologies, Inc, DUNS 610109675, Cage Code: 4ERC5 for annual support licensing for the Forcepoint Sidewinder Firewall (FW) software (SW) used in the Battle Force Tactical Network (BFTN) Program of Record (POR) to support Fleet deployed systems. The Government intends to negotiate solely with 4 Star Technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 541519 - Other Computer Related Services This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quote which may be considered by the Government. All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
