Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase orders and subsequent modifications on a sole-source basis to Liquid Robotics, Inc. (LRI). The requirement is for the acquisition of prototype systems, spares, maintenance, software licensing and engineering support for use in multiple projects which include both unclassified and classified systems and mission development for use in the maritime environment. The prototype systems will consist of multiple LRI Sensor Hosting Autonomous Remote Craft (SHARC) SV3 unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), namely Wave Gliders, equipped with mission specific sensors and payload systems to demonstrate mission capability concepts. At sea testing events will be conducted to exercise the system's sensing capability and to collect data in support of initial concept validation and prototype assessments. The estimated aggregate contract value is $12,500,000.The authority to award orders and subsequent modifications under the attached Class Justification and Approval (J&A) expires on 30 September 2021. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 541715 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.
