The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Shade Structures, Inc. (USA Shade & Fabric Structure). The requirement is for the purchase and installation of the following in accordance with the Performance Work Statement attached: ITEM 0001: 4 Point Sail, 30ft x30ft max, w/stainless steel finish cable (including design and installation) – 1 Each ITEM 0002: Single Post Pyramid, 20ft x 20ft max, w/stainless steel hardware finish (including design and installation) – 2 Each ITEM 0003: Hot Dip Powder Coated Column (supplier to existing structure columns including color) – 1 Each ITEM 0004: Fabric Sail, 23ft x23ft approximate, w/stainless steel finish cable (supplier to match existing shade fabric color, design and installation included) – 1 Each This procurement is for follow-on/growth work on shade structures originally installed by Shade Structures, Inc. (USA Shade & Fabric Structure). All material is to match existing equipment on site and shall be provided from the same material vendor. By using the same shade manufacturer, color uniformity will be maintained without variances that would occur by using other vendors and the warranty of existing structure same manufacturer will not be voided. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 332312 and the business size standard is 500 employees. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for quotes; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency.
