N66001-20-Q-6752 This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with VIASAT, INC; DUNS:156199346, CAGE Code: 1Q601, at 1725 Breckin Ridge Plz NW Duluth, GA, 30096-8982. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: ViaSat Brake Assembly , P/N:1365325 Manufacturer: Viasat QTY: 6 The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 apply. ViaSat is the only company capable of providing the service brakes compatible with the existing CDLS, AN/USQ-167 system. The Government intends to negotiate solely with ViaSat, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only Capable SourceThe applicable NAICS Code is 335999 and the business size standard is 500 employees.
