The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific), hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Mentor Graphics Corporation. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: Questa Core VHDL Ap SW P/N: 248491E Manufacturer: Mentor Graphics QTY: 1 LOT (12 Months) ITEM 0002: HDL Designer Ap SW P/N: 252991E Manufacturer: Mentor Graphics QTY: 1 LOT (12 Months) ITEM 0003: Questa Core VHDL Ap SW P/N: 248491E Manufacturer: Mentor Graphics QTY: 1 LOT (12 Months) This procurement is for the renewal of license and technical support for Mentor Graphic Questa Core VHDL and HDL designer software, which will allow NIWC Pacific to continue receiving technical support with software updates and security patches in accordance with DON policies. NIWC Pacific requires licenses and support services that are only available from one responsible/capable source, Mentor Graphics Corporation. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 apply. The applicable NAICS Code is 511210 and the business size standard is $41.5 million. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding.
