The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial Firm-Fixed- Price FAR 13 purchase order on a non-competitive basis with Bluewater Marine. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: BWM Floating Dock System: The Government requires a custom designed aluminum framed floating dock system with a custom configured moon pool to serve as a sample exposure platform in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The contractor shall provide technical and professional expertise for design and fabrication of an aluminum framed floating dock system with a moon pool in the center matching the following specifications: a) One floating dock module measuring approx. 10' wide x 24' long, with a 50" x 20' clear opening in the center of the dock. Procurement includes in-water delivery. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request. The applicable NAICS Code is 336611 and the business size standard is 1,250 employees.
