Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled "Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes", this announcement constitutes a sources sought for written information only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) and a formal solicitation is not available at this time. The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in San Diego, CA is seeking responsible contractors that can provide antenna coaxial cables per attachment 1 specifications for NIWCs Compact Surface Antenna. The deadline to submit a contract number for Government review is two days before the close of the RFQ at 23:59 PST. Please note that submissions after this deadline may not leave sufficient time for review and the Government may choose not to consider submissions after this deadline. Failure to obtain the drawings prior to the quote submission deadline will make the contractor ineligible for award. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334417, Electronic Connector Manufacturing. The Size Standard is 1,000 number of employees, and the PSC is 5995, Cable, Cord, and wire assemblies: Communication Equipment. Interested, responsible business concerns capable of meeting these requirements are invited to submit a capabilities statement (not to exceed one page) that demonstrates their capability to provide such materials. The capability statement must also include the following information: 1. Include company name, address, CAGE code, small business status (8A, small, small disadvantaged, women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, or service- disabled veteran-owned), and point of contact (POC) information for the interested firm. 2. Identify, by contract number, any past or current contracts and/or subcontracts that were awarded to your firm, period of performance, contract type, contract amount, and points of contact for any customer references. Please respond no later than 22 June 2020 at 1000 PST to ruben.martinez@navy.mil Other general information: NIWC anticipates conducting an acquisition pursuant to FAR Parts 12 and 13, and awarding a firm-fixed price (FFP) type contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
