This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Stratasys, Inc. (DUNS 61-346-5806) of 7665 Commerce Way, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. The requirement is for Fortus 3D Printer annual maintenance plan. Item 0001 Emerald Care 450 MFG: Stratasys P/N: SC-FDM00026 QTY: 3 The Government intends to negotiate solely with UCF under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only Capable Source. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 811212 and the business size standard is $30 million. Please be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice or required for solicitation may be submitted via e-mail ONLY to isabella.busalacchi@navy.mil by 12 June 2020. All responses received before said date will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
