Notice of Intent to Solicit & Award Sole Source Purchase Order to Viasat, Inc. Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pac) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order on a sole-source basis to Viasat, Inc. The requirement is for the acquisition of Accessories that are required to allow a KG-250X encryption device to function. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 apply. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive quote; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirements of providing these supplies may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of supplies provided. All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM) website prior to the award of contract. To respond to this announcement, you must be registered to the SPAWAR E-Commerce website at https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil. Responses are due by 6 May 2020 at 1:00PM PT.
