The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Aeronavics. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: Navi 1.4 Aircraft (UAV) QTY: 1; ITEM 0002: Inspection Payload Package, Thermal QTY: 1; ITEM 0003: Shipping & Handling QTY: 1. The above supplies will be utilized to support necessary testing for thermographic inspection of cables and structures involved in Government programs. The supplies are customized to match an existing Government system of testing. Failure to meet specific requirements would delay performance by industry and academic performers. Only Aeronavics provides the necessary requirements for the Government testing. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
