N66001-20-Q-6383 – Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Hypres; The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Hypres, Inc. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: 1) ITEM 0001: Model CS-48-100-110V; multi- channel, programmable current source, QTY: 1; 2) ITEM 0002: Model CM-stim-002-det; custom chip housing for superconducting electronic stimulus chip (detachable cryomodule for Stimulus Generator), QTY: 7; The above supplies will be utilized to support independent testing and evaluation within Government programs. The supplies are customized to match an existing Government current source and configuration for a planned installation in order to allow for effective troubleshooting. Failure to meet specific requirements would delay performance by industry and academic performers. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334515 and the business size standard is 750 employees.
