This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Anokiwave, Inc., CAGE: 3DS30, of 5355 Mira Sorrento Place, Suite 300 San Diego, CA 92121. The requirement is for integrated silicon core chips for active steerable antenna arrays intended for satellite communication applications. Highly integrated RF (Radio Frequency) silicon-based circuits must operate on a Ku-band (14 to 15.5 GHz) capable of amplification, phase shifting, and switching for both transmission and reception in the active phased array antenna. The silicon-based circuits must be capable of half-duplex operation and be surface mountable on a printed circuit board to enable a low-cost phased array to be produced.
