N66001-20-Q-6254 – Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to American Systems The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Non-Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with American Systems. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: Removal of system from US Navy ship QTY: 1 The above system was installed by American Systems and this removal is a logical follow-on from the installation. Once systems are separated, remaining systems must maintain full functionality and the ship must be returned to the original state prior to system installation. American Systems has intimate knowledge to separate systems without causing impact. No alternate available vendors found to complete the system removal without causing impact and loss of functionality. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
