NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO SOLE SOURCE RFQ-N6600120Q6004 The proposed contract action is for commercial items, which Naval Information Warfare Center San Diego intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to A & J Manufacturing Company, 70 Icon Foothill Ranch, CA 92610-3000, Phone: (714)544-9570. Under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)1(i), sole source justification is based on A & J Manufacturing Company who is the ONLY authorized company that certified for MIL-DTL- 901E and MIL-STD-810 for United States Military standards for shock and vibration testing qualification for the Medium Duty Equipment Rack & Storage Drawer. CLIN:0001 Medium Duty Equipment Rack Extended Description: W/Isolation System-Includes Isolator Assembly ( 4 coils), and stabilizer Assembly ( 2 coils), Power Strip Assembly To be mounted on left side. QTY 12 Each. CLIN:0002 Storage Drawer QTY 04 Each. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within (7) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
