This is an announcement notice to intent to sole source. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Comware Technical Services, Inc., 17922 Sky Park Circle, Suite E, Irvine, CA 92631. Comware Technical Services Inc. will provide vtVAX Bare Metal 256 MB Licenses IC Standard Support, vtVAX Bare Metal 128 MB Licenses Standard Support, and annual support for NOSC-A, MicroVAX 4400 replacement system to include upgrade services. Additionally is will provide on-site migration support for software development of the virtual tape conversion, remote support during debug and on-site debug support of Code 53522 Command and Control Processor (C2P) and its software development. This notice of intent to sole source is NOT a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The order will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. No hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Authority for other than full and open competition is in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one response source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
