The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NWIC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Austin Insulators, Inc. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: 0220430 Austin Insulators De-ice insulator assembly RH Right Hand Manufacturer: Austin Insulators, Inc. QTY: 1 ITEM 0002: 0220430 Austin Insulators De-ice insulator assembly LH Left Hand Manufacturer: Austin Insulators, Inc. QTY: 1 The above supplies are Government custom designed parts for the FTB-02 de-ice composite bushings at the Naval Computer & Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS) Atlantic Detachment Cutler. These De-Ice insulators are only built by Austin Insulators with no current alternatives. Based on the approved Justification for Non-Competitive Procurement (JNCP) (which will be posted after award), there is only one responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.
