The purpose of this amendment is to revise the PWS and answer several questions receiving during the solicitation. Naval Sea Logistics Center, located at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg PA, is soliciting for Onsite Shredding Services for an initial period of performance of one (1) year as well as two (2) possible option years. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-S1. The solicitation, issued as request for quotation (RFQ) N6572622Q0004, is attached to this announcement. The proposed contract is a small business set-aside. Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561990 and has a size standard of $12,000,000. Offerors are required to provide FOB Destination pricing to NSA Mechanicsburg, PA 17050-2411. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. All questions regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing as soon as practicable after receipt of solicitation.
