Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to Spanalytics, 4190 Innslake Drive, Glen Allen, VA, 23060-3344 for a five-Day training, two instructors, Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) Setup and Operations, Protocols & Cyber Deep Dive. The training is to maintain and ensure consistent knowledge base of currently fielded system. Spanalytics has proprietary rights and is the only contractor able to provide the required training. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies and incidental services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
