This is an intended sole source announcement. Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC, Atlantic), Code 22130, intends to award a firm fixed price order to DRS Pivotal Power for the repair of nine UPS units. DRS Pivotal Power is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment being repaired and holds all proprietary rights to the equipment. This announcement is in accordance with the attached spreadsheet under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will accept quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the supplies and incidental services outlined in the attachments included in this synopsis to the OEM. All proposals will be evaluated based on Lowest Price and will award a contract resulting from this synopsis to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. If you are an authorized reseller of DRS Pivotal Power, please provide a capability statement that states quoter is an authorized reseller or distributor. The contracting officer will verify that the offeror is an authorized reseller or distributor. Quotes are due to Teaira Hawley, Contract Specialist, NIWC Atlantic by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 26 April 2021. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on Brand Name based upon the responses received. This action is conducted under FAR Part 13.
