NIWC Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to Digital Receiver Technology, Inc., 12409 Milestone Center Dr., Germantown, MD, 20876-7114 to procure the following: DRT, RNR-4411B R&R for 4411B systems, RMA No - 43998, SN155 DRT, RNR-4411B R&R for 1301C systems, RMA No - 43999, SN1479 DRT, RNR-1301C R&R for 1301C systems, RMA No - 44000, SN1081 DRT is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the DRT receivers. The internal drawings and repair manuals proprietary to the OEM and DRT is the only vendor who can perform the repairs. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies and incidental services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
