Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to DTECH LABS (GATR TECHNOLOGIES, INC.), 21580 Beaumeade Circle, Suite 230 Ashburn, VA 20147 to tear down, evaluate and repair previously evaluated materials. DTECH is the sole source supplier of the required components and authorized repair facility for the faulty materials identified requiring Test and Evaluation (T&E) to assess for repair. DTECH Labs is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the materials being repaired and they are proprietary to DTECH Labs.As well as the repairs once T&E has been completed. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies and incidental services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
