The Naval Information Warfare Systems Center (NIWC Atlantic) Charleston, SC 22140 has a requirement for the upgrade of radio control switches. This action is to complete market research to determine whether there is adequate interest for this requirement. This notice is only for the purpose of identifying potential small business sources. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Cornet Technology, Inc. for the requirements listed below: 1. CONVERSION UPGRADE of AN/PRC-117G RADIO CONTROL SWITCH from P/N: CCHA44689-2 to P/N: CCHA44689-4; QTY: 23 EA Cornet Technology, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment being procured and holds all proprietary rights to the equipment. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for repairs to existing materials for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-1. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this notice. Responses are due to Rozella Johnson, Contract Specialist, NIWC Atlantic by 3:00PM, Eastern Standard Time, 10 August 2021. The Government will not pay for any information received.
