The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Data Security, Inc. (CAGE Code 0B8L1) of 300 S. 7th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508. This requirement is for the following: ITEM 0001- Repair Data Security SSMD-2mm device disintegrator MFG: Data Security, Inc. QTY: 1 Each The Government intends to negotiate solely with Data Security under the authority of FAR13.106-1(b), Only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Par 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR par 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. The applicable NAICS Code is 811310 the business size standard is $8,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency.
