Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Glenair, Inc. 1211 Air Way, Glendale CA 91201 to provide hardware. Glenair, Inc. is the sole source supplier of the required hardware. The following hardware is required to assist communication within currently fielded vehicles. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies and incidental services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
