Spectra Lab, LLC has proprietary rights and sole source supplier of the required maintenance. The following hardware warranty is required to support the Spectrum Defender, SD-3836; Part No. NomenclatureQTY 08-000-0025HW WARRANTY, 1YR, DEFENDER SD-38361EA 08-000-0036ON-DEMAND ASSISTANCE, 2 EVENTS 1EA WITHIN 2 YEARS, SD-3836 The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for support maintenance for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106- 1. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
