Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic intends to award a sole source purchase order to COMBYTE, USA, 5415 Easton Dr., Springfield, VA. The Gold Fleet Support will provide annual calibration and repair services to The Fluke DSX-5000QI and DSX-8000QI tester to CERTIFY an installed copper cable and also fiber optic cable. In order to maintain its warranty these services and supplies must be provided ONLY through an Authorized Reseller confirmed by, Fluke Corporation, who is the original equipment manufacturer of the Fluke tester. The authority for soliciting a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a Single source under authority 13.106-2. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action to this notice, based upon responses, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
