The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic has a requirement for the following Brand Name Part: Dell Part Number: FC430; Description: PowerEdge FC430 Server; Quantity: Six (6) each (See Attachment 1) These servers will be used aboard the fleet, Navy wide. They are designed and engineered to be shipboard stable and compatible with the currently installed system. These units are in support of an existing program and will allow the agency to maintain the required stock levels needed to support and fill requisitions by the Navy Fleet. The required equipment is being procured to replenish the agency's depleted stock; therefore, the exact equipment identified must be procured. This action is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) for single source. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
