Naval InThis action is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i), soliciting from a formation Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, sole source purchase order to Design Lighting Corporation, 301 Science Park Rd. State College, PA 16803-2215. The Government has a requirement for three (3) Digital Tuner Systems. The applicable NAICS is 334290 and the size standard is 750. The PSC is 5811. single source under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The Digital Tuner Systems contain military related technology, which is closely regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The ITAR restricts the digital tuners from being purchased through a third party. Therefore, they must be procured directly from the manufacturer Design Lightning Corp. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than five days after this notices posts via email to curtis.l.reid@navy.mil. A solicitation will not be posted. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
