Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to PITNEY BOWES, 3001 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06926 to provide postal meters required by the United States Postal Service (USPS) for meeting bulk postage requirements located within both the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and St. Julien's Creek mail rooms. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
