As a reminder, the response time identified in the Solicitation Instruction to offerors is the final authority of when responses are due. _____________________________________________________________________ Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to WRAPSTAR STUDIO, 7227 Cross County Road, Unit B, North Charleston, SC 29418 to provide installation of vinyl wrap, graphics, and ceramic coating for the agency's motor vehicles. This service must be performed in order to be 100% compatible with agency's current motor vehicles. WRAPSTAR STUDIO is the manufacturer of these materials and sole source supplier of the required components. Additionally, WRAPSTAR STUDIO developed a system that meets the requirements set forth by our customer's performance descriptions and requirements. Due to the custom vehicle paint specifications, WRAPSTAR STUDIO is the only vendor that is able to install the vinyl with the unique coating that meets the customer's requirements. They also have controlled access to their facility while the vehicles are onsite. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
