The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, Charleston, SC, code 22120 has a requirement to evaluate and repair three (3) dB Control TWTA units. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to dB Control for the requirements listed below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements dB Control is the sole manufacturer and hold proprietary rights. The contract line item number (CLIN) and description for this procurement are:***Please See Attached Specifications.*** This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes for items other than the brand name dB Control listed in this synopsis*** In order to ensure that the dB Control units are returned to their factory operation, only the OEM can repair the units to their original condition. If the Government was not to use the OEM, it would cause the Government lost time and additional costs when other companies are unable to repair, as specified in the attached SSJ. However, if your company possesses the capabilities to meet the technical requirements/specifications, please provide the following information for consideration: (1) The technical specifications of the product you are proposing; (2) a Quote for the items listed in the RFQ; (3) ownership (i.e. Large, small or other concern). This information is required prior to the closing date and time of the RFQ announcement. Quotes are due to Contract Specialist, NIWC, Atlantic by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time,04/17/2019. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a Brand Name based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
