Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, intends to award this requirement on a Sole Source basis to Rhode & Schwarz USA, Inc, 6821 Benjamin Franklin Drive, Columbia, MD 21046, on a Firm-Fixed Price Contract One Year Renewal of RNMS 3000 Software Maintenance, PN SLA Basic (FY20). This synopsis/notice is posted to determine whether there is adequate interest for this requirement. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Rhode and Schwartz USA, Inc has exclusive data rights and no other company has the requisite knowledge or data rights to perform these software maintenance services nor share data rights with other companies. The authority for Single Source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). No electronic or hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution.
