Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWARSYSCOM) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to UBM LLC - Help Desk Institute (HDI), 1983 Marcus Avenue, Ste. 250, Lake Success, NY 11042 to provide the Help Desk Institute (HDI) Center of Excellence Revalidation Audit which is an end-to-end analysis of the NAVWARSYSCOM Atlantic Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) to meet or exceed HDI (industry) best practices for Enterprise Service Desks. The audit is a multi-day event comparing all aspects of the ESD against Industry best practices. The NAVWARSYSCOM Atlantic ESD's strategic goal is to validate the ESD as an HDI Center of Excellence/Certified Support Center. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
