Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic intends to award a sole source purchase order to COMBYTE USA, 5415 Easton Dr., Springfield, VA, to provide Gold Fleet Support and LAN Upgrades. This support provides calibration and repair services to the Fluke DSX- 800QI tester. The Fluke tester is used to certify an installed Unshielded Twisted Pair copper cable and fiber optic cable. In order to maintain its warranty these services and supplies must be provided through an authorized reseller of Fluke Corporation who is the original equipment manufacturer of the Fluke tester. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-2. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
