The contract is for the leased dark optic cable that is currently installed, configured and utilized at the Charleston Naval Weapon Station and the former Charleston Naval Base. This service will provide continued maintenance of the currently installed dark fiber optic cable necessary for research development test and engineering network capabilities. This contract is for one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods.
