This work directly supports the defense posture of the United States and programs that enable strategic and tactical communications, Command and Control, and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance dissemination for United States (US) Special Operations Forces. The work encompasses complete systems life cycle support from development, test, and certification through integration, operator training and fielding, life cycle sustainment, and disposal. The scope of the work includes worldwide technical and logistics support for approximately 2,500 deployable SATCOM systems and the supporting Wide Area Network terrestrial and satellite gateway infrastructure distributed over approximately 90 sites Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS). This is a pre-solicitation notice, and the Government anticipates that a formal solicitation will be issued in 1st Quarter FY19 under full and open competition. The Government anticipates award of a single award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), performance based, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), services contract with additional provisions for Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) orders.
