The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division, issued a solicitation to Rockwell Automation, Inc. on 22 September 2026 for LPD New Construction materials. The Government intends to negotiate and award a Basic Ordering Agreement Order to Rockwell Automation, Inc. under an existing BOA, with award planned for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027. This is a follow-on procurement and a sole-source action because Rockwell is considered the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy’s requirements. Although this is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and capability in writing for the Government’s consideration in determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
