These transducers send electrical signals to the PLC to be interpreted as corresponding pressures. The pressure readings are used by the PLC to initiate various system sequences and safety features. System pressure readings are accessed and displayed on the MCP and MCMS. Additionally, the requested AMETEK pressure transducers are for replacing and retrofitting an existing system. AMETEK is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of these pressure transducers; and the company also has sole possession of the design, drawings, specifications, technical information and support documentation; while Standard Calibrations Inc. is the authorized distributor. Also, the original AMETEK pressure transducers has been modified by AMETEK to meet the NAVY standards and specific needs.
