This is a synopsis/presolicitation notice for a non-commercial supply purchase. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as a result of this notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has established a requirement for the production, assembly, testing, and delivery of Plastics Waste Processing (PWP) equipment for US Navy ships. A draft copy of the Statement of Work is attached to this announcement. This solicitation shall be issued on unrestricted basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
