The subject Advanced Notice is for the purpose of making the Seaport MAC community aware of an upcoming requirement in order to enhance competition. This notice is not a synopsis or solicitation. Details of the requirement are forthcoming in solicitation N6449823R3152. The requirement will be solicited as a full and open competition to Multiple Award Contract (MAC) holders in SeaPort-NxG. This notice does not guarantee that a resultant Seaport Task Order Award shall be made. The scope of work shall include supporting the Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) Program through analysis of Hull, Mechanical, & Electrical (HM&E) machinery and ship control systems for sensor and control data on surface ship classes. The contractor shall perform analytical and algorithm software shall sense faults and/or anomalous or malicious events that can cause failures to onboard ship systems. The contractor shall provide engineering, technical, logistics, and program support for the development, prototyping, implementation and in-service support of Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) data analysis and software development for various sensors onboard US Navy ships. Work performed under this Task Order will include the following support areas: Program Management Software Development Modeling and Simulation Development Logistics Support The period of performance will be a five (5) year requirement. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released in the Seaport NxG portal in October 20203, with receipt of proposals due 30 days thereafter. The task order will be a cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) level of effort with an estimated 40,960 man hours per year. The Seaport Task Order will be a new requirement that has no incumbent.
