Naval Foundry and Propeller Center requires self-dumping hopper dumpsters to ensure proper disposal of metal chips which are waste from the precision cutting machines used throughout the facility. The machines will empty the metal chips dirctly into the hoppers which can be emptied upon fulfillment. The self-dumping hoppers enable transportation of chips via forklift to the metal dumpters to ensure the waste is properly recycled and/or disposed of. NFPC intends to purchase (6) on cubic yard hoppers and (3) two cubic yrad hoppers.
