This combined synopsis / solicitation is to serve as the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division's intent to solicit on a sole-source basis the procurement of VM-USB VME Controller with USB-2 interface from W-IEN E-R Power Electronics (3J7N8) on the basis that Wiener is the only company that manufactures the VM-USB with slave firmwarem, this firmware is required for interoperability site systems due to the Signal Virtualization in DIU Memory (SVDM) test tool utilized.
