The response date has not been extended. See Amendment 0001 for details. The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). Intends to procure the following services on an unrestricted basis: Non-commercial depot-level overhaul and repair of the 250-KS4 Marine Gas Turbine Engine (MGT), National Stock Number (NSN) 2835-01-493-3966. The 250-KS4 was designed and manufactured by Rolls Royce Marine North America (RRMNA) and is utilized by the US Navy as the engine aboard the Guided-Missile Destroyer (DDG) 51 Class ships as a Redundant Independent Mechanical Start System (RIMSS) for the 501-K34 Ship Service Gas Turbine Generator sets (SSGTG). Potential awardees must hold a valid RRMNA Authorized Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centers (AMROC) agreement for the M250 family of engines. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the required services is included in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) document. Award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract is intended. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit utilizing lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) procedures IAW DFARS 215-101-2.70, where the best value to the government will result from the selection of a technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price.
