Sources Sought/Request for Information Description: This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Navy to identify available centrifugal-based oil/water separators (OWSs) in compliance with performance specification “OIL/WATER SEPARATOR (OWS), CENTRIFUGAL, 38-LITER (10-GALLON) PER MINUTE” (MIL-PRF-32654). The purpose of this Sources Sought is to issue a Request for Information (RFI) to identify vendors and products which comply with the requirement in performance specification MIL-PRF-32654. Responses: For each product you would like the Navy to consider, provide the following: Company Name and CAGE Company Contact Information (Address, Phone Number, email) Company size (e.g. small business, large business, or small disadvantaged business) Experience providing centrifugal OWSs to the Maritime industry; provide examples Experience providing centrifugal OWSs to the U.S. Navy and foreign Navies; provide examples Product Part Number Physical Dimensions of Product Copy of Product/Technical Data Sheet Price per Unit Issue Annual cost of consumables based on manufacturer recommended maintenance Production lead time per Unit Issue Relevant certifications (e.g. IMO MEPC.107(49) or USCG 46 CFR 162.050) Objective Quality Evidence (test results, history of experiences, etc.) that the product meets all requirements of MIL-PRF-32654. For example: Shock Qualification: Provide shock testing qualification documents in accordance with MIL-DTL-901, grade B, class I, type A Vibration Qualification: Provide vibration testing qualification documents in accordance with MIL-STD-167-1, type I environmental vibration EMI Qualification: Provide EMI testing qualification documents in accordance with MIL-STD-461 Operational Test: Provide any relevant data related to the performance of the centrifugal OWS Reliability data: Provide any relevant data related to the Mean Time between Critical Failure (MTBCF), Maintenance Ratio, and Maximum Time to Repair (MTTR) of the centrifugal OWS Any other pertinent and relevant production information
