The vendor shall procure and deliver the ceramic pieces based on the CLIN structure and delivery date table located in section C-Descriptions and Specifications of the attached Solicitation. Early deliveries prior to the listed delivery date will be acceptable but NFPC must be contacted to ensure adequate warehouse space is available. NFPC has utilized Industrial Ceramic Products in all of their casting processes for current rotors and were used to establish gating flow patterns with for future rotors. Although there are other gating manufacturers, attempting to test flow patterns for material degradation at this stage of the project will cause delays in rotors designated for the current VA and CLB class naval submarines awaiting them. No replacements or substitutions are acceptable.
