NSWCPD intends to procure on a sole-source basis the acquisitionn of annual calibration of the Zimmer Sensors used to support test procedures. As per requirements document 486:DPJ/841801/4.0, calibration of these sensors is required annually. Probata Corporation has demonstrated technical competency to calibrate these sensors to ISO 17025 and ANSI Z540 requirements as shown in their A2LA certificate number 1166.01. Competency in these standards is required by US Navy SISCAL for a contractor to be able to perform calibrations on US Navy sensors and systems. Probata is also able to calibrate the sensors on site.
