This procurement is for a redundant tape library system. Included in this procurement is the tape library system with quantity one base module and two expansion modules, a NAS appliance for executing the data management software, quantity two Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery for Physical Servers software, installation and integration services with the CTF DAS, all required LTO?7 M8 cartridges, and software and hardware maintenance licensing. This system is necessary to archive older CTF DAS data to preserve active data space on the primary and redundant CTF DAS SAN units. Storage engine provided a tape library system in FY19, which is currently installed in Bldg. 633. The purpose of the system would be to locate it in Bldg. 87 with the redundant SAN. This would provide archived data that is non co?located and also provide a redundant archiving system in the event the primary archiving system fails.
