The N... This is a synopsis/presolicitation notice for a non-commercial service purchase. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract sole source to Leidos, Inc. as a result of this notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has established a requirement for an updated US Navy Drawing Package for the Model UF-1001 Oily Waste Ultrafiltration System and related technical manuals, for which Leidos, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Model UF-1001 Oil Waste Ultrafiltration System is used within NSWCPD Code 335 aboard LPD Class vessels. A copy of the Statement of Work is attached to this announcement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all RFQs received prior to the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or conduct a competitive procurement. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available.
